Matías Vial, better known in the artistic field as "ILMATO", is a Chilean director, photographer and designer. He has dedicated himself to portray the urban culture and its relationship with new musical genres. In addition to his UC Design degree with highest distinction, he is influenced by his continuing education studies in photography and filmmaking at Parsons School of Design and School of Visual Arts in NYC. Immersing himself in that underground culture, Matías continues to generate images that unite the street and music in a single piece, even going so far as to venture into musical creation itself. In 2021 he received the "La Junta" award for best music video direction, consolidating himself as one of the most respected Chilean directors in the current music video industry. In addition to his artistic area, Matías has directed advertising projects for brands such as Nike, Escudo, Zoo York, SuperZoo, among others. Matías's fresh and innovative way of seeing things is coveted by renowned international musicians like Karol G, Feid, Paloma Mami, Jowell & Randy, as well as major companies such as Apple.
